IAS results are out and the internet is buzzing with stories on how topers made it! well done folks
Many dreams of becoming an IAS at times when we really wish we had some power.Here are Five things every Indian student thinks about IAS exam.



1.You got to have the background in Humanities

Yes people who have a background in humanities do find it comfortable to prepare for the exam but that does not mean that students from other streams can't crack it. As a matter of fact, people can actually pursue their core subjects for the exam.

2.You should be from Bihar
Being Bihari does not mean Being a government employee as this is India and here no matter what you aspire for your parents have always dreamt of you getting that Sarkari desk and if you to share their vision than chances are high that you might also wish to once appear for the exam regardless of you being a Bihari or not simply makes no difference.
3.You got to relocate to Mukherjee Nagar

This is the place in New Delhi which is the hub of IAS but surely it is not the only place in the country which has coaching centers and no one can claim that its the best.A lot of people who have cracked IAS in past have made it on their own.coaching can only help it's the in numerous hours of hard work which helps you crack it!

4.You can be Aamir Khan from the movie Sarfarosh (though he chose IPS over IAS)

Who does not like power? and we live in a country which draws a lot of admiration from Bollywood.One particular film which as surely inspired people to take up IPS is Sarfarosh.Its rated 8.2 0n IMDB and it's surely on top of the favorite movie list of aspirants.

5.You can become a Politician or an Entrepreneur!

Yes if you are an IAS and you face a mid-career crisis and  you feel like changing your career than worry no more IAS has some of the best career change options,the political parties are always looking for people who understand how bureaucracy works and voters also like to vote for folks who have made it on their own. Alphons Kannanthanam is one such example. Roman Saini ,founder of unacademy  is another example of IAS turned entrepreneur who is now working to revolutionize the space of online coaching for competitive exams.
