The power of marginal Effort

Marginal effort theory is a performance management theory which emphasizes on the fact that you can be better of at something if you focus on making a short effort in improving one percent margin for improvement in everything you do.

for example, say you study for about 40 hours a week while preparing for a competitive exam and you wish to improve your total study hours than you should try to study for just 24 minutes extra every week or say six minutes of additional study every day will help you not only study more but it will also help you improve your retention and attention.

you need to make sure that you know what all areas are important for you to perform better and you need to set realistic goals which can be achieved and at the same time you are making marginal effort to improve every day.

To see this work out for you make sure that you follow the following three steps.

  1. Areas of improvement.
  2. Realistic goal
  3. Implement marginal effort
  4. Review what you have added up.

Give it a short and let us know if this works out well for you!
