Zuckerberg's leadership test!

Why should he continue as the CEO of facebook? Is he a cheat or a savior?Has Mark failed as a CEO?This is what the jury actually wanted to tell Mark, “Your brand is your claim and your claim is your goddam responsibility.” Turns out that this is exactly what Mark wanted to hear.

Leadership is about responsibility and you can be ashamed of what happened behind your back but the world is now going to judge you as a “data trader”.
Mark now faces the toughest challenge as a CEO, What will it possibly take for Mark to save facebook.
Here are 5 points which should help you judge him better

1.Did facebook sell data?
Facebook does not sell data to advertisers, it helps advertisers place the ads to the right customers. This goes true for every social site and search engine and this is practically how internet earns its revenue. This is absolutely legit.

2. Can facebook fix elections?
Let us not forget the fact that Facebook is a medium of mass communication. You do not blame the manufacturer of sound systems when hate speeches are delivered from election stages!
Social media is now going to be a mass medium you can not help it as it has the potential to reach masses, Fixing elections will require Facebook to get authenticated as official government ballot partner!

3. It's not the algorithm, its content that makes fake news survive!
As a scalable medium, it has the “viral engine” are people being fooled via fake posts? Yes, but the problem lies with the content and not with the medium, Facebook promises to develop a team of content experts who will identify potentially harmful content.

4. Protecting privacy is important!
Yes it is and Mark agrees to that but what a user wishes to share publically is also a user’s choice, you can not expect the app to supersede your intelligence and make your decisions for you!

5. My team will follow up with you
He has been mocked at this but come on, you can not expect the leader to know it all, he has employed people to work for him and as a true leader, it’s only fair to not to comment o things which you are not sure about!

Mark can choose to stay as the CEO and continue to fight the Odds, or he can resign and let the odds take over Facebook once and for all!
Meanwhile, Orkut plans to make a comeback in India, is this just a coincidence or a perfectly coordinated plan!
Looking forward to your comments!
